Heel (calcaneus) Spur or plantar fasciitis
The heel (calcaneus) spur or plantar fasciitis occurs when the overload of the aponeurosis of the foot sole (plantar fascia) swells at its insertion point in the heel and irritates the surrounding tissue. Therefore, a painful inflammation results in the affected areas, calcium accumulates and the spur is formed. As well, it is possible that there is a congenital spur that swells over time.
The conventional treatment consists in anti-inflammatories, orthopedic soles or surgery.
Several patients, who have come to the service after consulting with various specialists because they have a heel spur, have been cured.
