For the fourth consecutive time, Clinica Biblica Hospital received a certification from the Joint Commission International (JCI), governmental organization which certifies prestigious health centers in more than 90 countries for their compliance with quality standards.

According to Iriana Chaves, director of institutional management and quality of Clinica Biblica Hospital, for the medical center, this fourth certification represents the institution´s maturity, growth and strengthening.

Some of the aspects which were evaluated were the continuity of care, patient rights and rights of their families, surgical care, medical management and use, leadership and management, facilities security and staff training, among others.

This recognition means an additional achievement for Clinica Biblica, since it is the only private medical center with a license to use the country brand.

Besides the JCI recertification, for the seventh consecutive year, Clinica Biblica has achieved a privileged position among the top 10 hospitals in Latin America, according to the America Economia magazine´s ranking.

This 2016, the medical center achieved the 6th position among 44 of the region´s public and private medical centers which were assessed. It is noteworthy that it achieved the second position in Latin America in the category of safety, and the fourth in human capital.

Some of the strengths of the hospital are human capital, efficiency and capability, as well as patient safety, item which scored a global grade of 97%. This positions Clinica Biblica as an institution which is highly committed to standardized policies and protocols, intended to minimize the risks related to hospital management.
